To celebrate the team’s achievements in 2025 and further strengthen collaboration, EVVA organized a three-day team-building retreat in Chenzhou, Hunan, from December 26. The retreat reflects EVVA’s commitment to fostering a people-centered culture and building a resilient, collaborative team.
Chenzhou, known as the “Forest City and Capital of Innovation,” is renowned for its natural beauty and rich cultural heritage. Against this inspiring backdrop, EVVA colleagues embarked on a journey that encouraged connection, relaxation, and shared experiences. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, the team strengthened bonds and reinforced the sense of unity that underpins EVVA’s corporate culture.
The retreat began with a visit to the Mangshan Hot Springs. Nestled in the mountains, the mineral-rich waters provided a tranquil environment for relaxation, allowing employees to release work-related stress and recharge both physically and mentally. The calm atmosphere offered a valuable opportunity for informal communication and deeper connection among colleagues.
On the second day, the team explored Mount Mang, the highest peak in southern Hunan. Along the hiking trails, expansive mountain views highlighted the grandeur of the surrounding landscape. In the evening, the group visited Yuhou Street, a historic area reflecting Chenzhou’s cultural legacy. Colleagues experienced local traditions, sampled regional specialties, and gained insight into the city’s history and craftsmanship.
A highlight of the retreat was the early-morning visit to Xiaodong River. As mist rose above the clear waters at dawn, a small boat drifting across the river and a fisherman casting his net created a peaceful and poetic scene. The quiet moment offered space for reflection and appreciation of nature’s beauty.
More than a recreational trip, the retreat served as a platform for strengthening communication and collaboration across teams. Through shared experiences and time spent together, employees deepened mutual understanding and trust. The positive energy and collective memories from the journey were shared throughout the company, reinforcing a strong sense of belonging.
